Welcome to my Birthday Post!!
My birthday was on Saturday, October 29th.
I woke up to a knock on the door, this lovely iced chai latte and a very loud and quick birthday song from my oldest daughter and her husband then as fast as they came, they had to rush off. I had to fight off my little girls from drinking it all.
My father-in-law took us out to lunch for Dim Sum in Chinatown. I'm not really into Chinese food but there are a few favorites that I always get. This time I stuck to the char siu
manapua
and chow fun noodles.
I spent my birthday feeling less than fab with no makeup, grey roots showing, and hair just pulled up into a clip. But hey, we're all real here and I thought, what the heck... I'll share these pics anyway.
I finally remembered to wear the earrings and ring I won from two different giveaways.

Here is a rare shot with my husband who surprisingly cooperated without me twisting his arm and making faces at him to take the photo. Yes, that is tape on my sad glasses. Dakota broke them in the first week I got them, this is going on the 3rd year. Saving money to get new ones. Still being real with you. :)

The girls were cute, they picked flowers from the nearby bushes and told me it was my birthday flowers. I had to wear it and they told me to keep it and take it home. They are so thoughtful.
We spent the evening at the mall with my son and my two grandsons. Went to visit my daughter and son's girlfriend who work there and just hung out walking around till the mall closed.
On our way home we stopped by my mom's house to a lovely birthday surprise. Flowers, a lovely card, and m&m brownies that my nephew helped to make. It was yummy.
Now, on to the Birthday Celebration!!!
